ikusto GmbH was founded in 1975. The co-founder at that time, Theo Frank, passed away in 1999. His expertise in the area of plastics processing, dating back to 1954, is the pillar of foundation for ikusto GmbH. When Theo and Maria Frank took over the company in 1983, ikusto GmbH became a family-run business, which then changed hands in 1992 to the current managing directors, Petra Frank-Haisch and Robert Frank.

ikusto-gmbh

ikusto GmbH is operated in shifts and has come to specialize in the processing of thermoplastic synthetic materials. The company’s machinery is demonstrative: in order to maintain optimal manufacturing conditions, we are up to 90% equipped with Krauss-Maffei injection molding machines of 50 – 250 t. Battenfeld and Arburg round off the machinery on hand. In 2004, we were able to expand our machinery equipment further with a completely electric injection molding machine.

The affiliated tool shop enables the creation of smaller injection molding forms and the perfect maintenance of the tools. The recycling of plastics has been an important factor in the production chain since the company’s existence. For this, the plastic waste products are bought from industry, pulverized and then processed into recycled products (e.g. the patch plates).
